Academic Decathlon Regional Results

Sinton High School's Academic Decathlon Team competed at Regionals this past weekend, Jan. 29-30, 2021. Though there were many glitches using the online testing program, it is with great excitement to announce that we will be advancing to State on Saturday, Feb. 27, 2021!

SHS AcaDec students earning medals based on the Regional subjective events are:

1^st Place Interview – Sachee Patel (Honors division)

3^rd Place Interview – Ella Troup (Honors division)

2^nd Place Interview – William Houser (Scholastic division)

6^th Place Speech – Sachee Patel (Honors division)

All members of the team advancing to State are Sachee Patel, Ella Troup, Meghal Patel, William Houser, Dora Hernandez, Eliseo Hernandez, and Christopher Hinojosa. Alternates are Pal Patel, Destiny Cavazos, and Ashley Gonzales.
