2021-2022 School Year Meal Information & Pricing

For the 2021-2022 school year, Sinton ISD is approved to operate the Seamless Summer Option (SSO) program which allows the Sinton ISD food service department to provide breakfast and lunch meals for all Sinton ISD students, at no cost to the student. This program eliminates the collection of meal applications from households. Each enrolled SISD student is permitted access to one breakfast and one lunch, per day, at no charge.

Please note, at Sinton ISD, students have access to purchase extra menu and snack items. Sinton ISD does not allow charging of these extra/additional menu and/or snack items, therefore, students must have either a positive food service account balance or cash at the time of purchase in the amount sufficient to cover purchases. In addition, when a student selects more menu items than the planned meal (see menus posted on district website http://www.sintonisd.net/wp/index.php/food-service/, the student will be charged a la carte pricing for the additional items at the time of purchase.

Please feel free to make a payment(s) to your child’s food service account to allow for extra purchases. Payments are accepted at the cash registers as well as may be made online via www.lunchmoneynow.com. If you send a payment with your child, we encourage payment in the form of a check with a note “for food service account”.

Please find below information related to menu/meal items: 

Breakfast: Includes up to 4 items (student must have a minimum of 3 items in which one item must be a ½ cup of fruit or juice to meet the meal requirements and for the meal to be provided at no charge).


• Choose 1: Main Dish (Counts as 1 item)
• Required/Choose 1: Fruit or Juice (Please remind your child to select a fruit or juice) (Counts as 1 item)
• Choose 1 or 2 different items from the following…
o Milk: 1% white or Fat Free Chocolate
o Another fruit
o Grain Item: Toast or Breakfast Crackers
• Note, some menu days may include additional items. The first serving of the item on the menu is provided at no extra charge.
• Additional servings/ items will be charged at a la carte prices. 

Lunch: Includes up to 5 components (meat, grain, vegetable, fruit, milk) (student must have a minimum of 3 components in which one must be a ½ cup of fruit or vegetable to meet the meal requirements and for the meal to be provided at no charge).


• Choose 1: Main Dish (Counts as 2 components on Sinton ISD menu)
• Required/Choose 1: Fruit or Vegetable (Please remind your child to select a fruit or vegetable) (Counts as 1 component)
• May choose up to 2 different components from the following…
o Milk: 1% white or Fat Free Chocolate
o Another fruit
o Another Vegetable
• Note: Some menu days may include additional items such as a dessert. The first serving of a dessert item is included with the lunch meal and at no cost to the child.
• Additional components/menu items/extra desserts will be charged at a la carte prices.

** Meal applications are not required for the 2021-2022 for the following campuses: Welder Elementary, Sinton Elementary, Smith Middle School and Sinton High School as Sinton ISD is approved by the Texas Department of Agriculture to operate the Seamless Summer Option (SSO) program which allows Sinton ISD TO provide free breakfast meals and lunch meals to students enrolled in the SSO identified campuses. **
