📣 Interim Superintendent Appointment & Superintendent Search Survey
The Sinton Independent School District Board of Trustees has appointed Leticia Ruiz to serve as the Interim Superintendent following the retirement of Dr. Andy Reddock at the conclusion of the 2025–2026 school year.
Mrs. Ruiz is a proud graduate of Sinton High School and enters her 18th year with Sinton ISD, bringing nearly two decades of educational experience and dedicated service to our district. Throughout her career, she has served in a variety of instructional and leadership roles, including middle school teacher, elementary teacher, reading interventionist, assistant principal, and most recently, Principal of Sinton Elementary.
Mrs. Ruiz will serve as Interim Superintendent while the Board of Trustees conducts a comprehensive search for the district's next permanent superintendent. Upon the appointment of a permanent superintendent, she will return to her role as Principal of Sinton Elementary.

Sinton ISD, in partnership with Education Service Center Region 2 (ESC2), invites parents, students, staff, community members, and all district stakeholders to participate in the Sinton ISD Superintendent Search Community Survey.
The survey is designed to gather community input regarding the qualities, leadership characteristics, experience, and priorities that stakeholders believe are most important in the district's next superintendent. The feedback received will assist the Sinton ISD Board of Trustees and ESC Region 2 in developing the leadership profile that will guide the superintendent search process.
