Students and adults, may also notice an increase in their screen time. It is important to remember to take breaks and be physically active throughout the day.  Give the following ideas a try when a break is needed!

  • Sidewalk chalk
  • Watercolor painting
  • Play outside
  • Ride a bike
  • Play hide & seek with your sibling
  • Build a LEGO sculpture
  • Read your favorite book
  • Fly a kite
  • Take pictures of nature in your front and backyard
  • Take turns telling silly jokes with your family

30 Minute Brain Breaks

  • Play outside
  • Bake a sweet treat with an adult
  • Play with your favorite toys
  • Make a fort out of sheets & pillows
  • Play a card game
  • Play a board game
  • Create and complete a nature scavenger hunt
  • Make a craft from recycled materials
  • Make an obstacle course with simple toys & complete it
