Character Strong at Welder Elementary

Our Welder librarian, Mrs. Casanova, has begun using the Purpose-Full Library to support Welder Elementary’s implementation of our new social-emotional learning program. She reads and discusses a new book with our Welder students during their weekly library visit. The Character Strong curriculum is built on valuable character traits that include courage, perseverance, honesty, respect, gratitude, kindness, responsibility, cooperation, creativity and empathy. Her books so far have focused on respect and responsibility.
